And the beat goes on, do do do do do

Last night was our game against the Warriors and as usual, the Rowdies represented! We were a bit light on personnel for the Romp and as such got started a bit late. The end result was that we were able to go through the upper, but not the lower concourse. Note to readers: We would LOVE to have y'all join us for our Romp, even if only for a bit. When you see and hear us come by, hook up with us and lend your voice to our Romp!

We got acknowledgement from several players during pregame warm ups as during them, we chanted the various players names until we were acknowledged or got tired of it. Shane Battier and Luther Head in particular pointed up to us while we were chanting their names.

At halftime, I talked with a couple who heard our "We love Head" chant from the opposite side of the Toyota Center. I personally love that chant because of the obvious double entendre (for crying out loud, who in their right mind doesn't love Head/head?) and because it gives the parents an easy way to explain the chant to children too young to get the double meaning (Luther Head just made a 3-pointer).

In addition, there were several LOUD versions of the calls for Novak to get off the bench (including "Noooooooooo-vak, Noooooooooo-vak," and "We want Novak," ) as well as our trademark "Hit the Road, Jack" song when Roberson fouled out and at the end of the game.

Last night, every Rowdy who had attended all of the games in November was put into a hat for a drawing for either a Yao autographed 2007 all-star poster or one autographed by Shane Battier. I missed out on the posters, but then he drew one more name for the hat that the names were in and my name came out! BONUS!!!

Signing off until after the Laker game next week.

GO ROCKETS!!!!!
